School is out, Come Play!

The Indoor Aquatic Center and the City’s three community centers will adjust their hours of operation Tuesday, Nov. 4 & 11 to accommodate students in the Clarksville-Montgomery County School System and their holiday schedule.

The Indoor Aquatic Center will be open for lap swim only from 6:30 a.m. to 9 a.m. and then to the public from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. The inflatable obstacle course, The Aqua Run Wibit, and the AquaClimb climbing wall will be available. Wristbands are required for access to these features.  Cost of wristbands is $2 for all day access; except for on Wednesdays, when Wibit access is always free with paid admission.

The City’s three community centers: Burt-Cobb, Crow, and Kleeman will be open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Visitors can enjoy access to the facility’s basketball courts, game rooms, computer labs and more! A community center ID is required. Cost for a center ID is only $5 per person and is valid at all three centers for an entire year!

This year’s parade, proudly presented by the City of Clarksville, the Montgomery County Government, and U.S. Bank, will take place Saturday, Dec. 6 at 5 p.m. in Downtown Clarksville.

This event gives local businesses, schools, and organizations the opportunity to showcase their Christmas spirit to the Clarksville community. This year’s theme is “A Storybook Christmas”. Interested in participating? Visit "City Events and Competitions" category, expand the family enrichment sub category and select the appropriate entry for your group. Deadline to enter is December 4.
